The preparations for the yearly event De Nacht van Strijp-S (the night of Strijp-S) are in full swing and it’s going to be epic! During this 24-hour festival, you will pick up the best of Strijp-S, from electrifying techno beats and mouth watering street food to cozy communal breakfasts and vintage treasure hunts. And guess what? Most of the fun is totally free! Mark September 21st and 22nd in your calendar—you definitely don’t want to miss this.

What is De Nacht van Strijp-S?

For 24 hours straight, there won’t be a dull moment on Strijp-S; you can discover the district for free all weekend long.  De Nacht van Strijp-S is about more than music. This is not just a night out — it is a celebration of the district's entrepreneurs and culture creators. On 21 and 22 September, you will discover the best of the ‘forbidden city’ in 24 hours. 

24 Hours dancing

Calling all night owls! The beat never stops at the iconic Klokgebouw, where Tasty Folk, Funki Bizniz, and Suspense Music will keep you dancing until dawn. Craving more electronic vibes? Dive into Area51's underground bunker, The Basement, for an epic club night. And don’t miss MOZEM going wild on the roof of Ketelhuis. Vinyl enthusiasts, rejoice! The Old Telephone Exchange is your playground during Doorgedraaid. It’s a non-stop dance party, day and night!

24 Hours of enjoyment

Standing  still? During De Nacht van Strijp-S? Not an option! Kids will love the energetic step track challenge from EMOVES and Area51 at Ketelhuisplein (Sunday only). On Saturday, get lost in the interactive XL Pacman game with a floor that responds to your every move, and as night falls, it transforms into a dazzling light show. Prefer a more laid-back vibe? Grab a seat and enjoy a classic skateboard film at NatLab in Area51.

24 Hours of shopping

On the hunt for unique finds? De Nacht van Strijp-S is your chance to snag the best vintage treasures. Urban Shopper, Good Day, Vintage Vêtements, and Frankies Favorites will be open extra late. Or, browse the Strijp-S marketon Torenallee with fifteen stalls full of fantastic items. Have stuff to sell? Set up your own stall and join the fun!

Strijp-S is the city’s creative hub, showcasing everything from spoken word to drag. On Saturday, Plug-in-City is the place for DJs, drag performances, and a studio tour. On Sunday, enjoy rhythmic poetry from talented wordsmiths at Stoeprandje Buts Buts.

24 Hours of culinary Delights

Fuel your adventure with delicious eats! Whether you're craving a crispy Italian pizza at STR'eat or tasty bites from various food stalls, your taste buds are in for a treat. Donna and Blue Collar are adding extra flair with a pop-up food court on their terrace. And along Torenallee, Het Veem and Rabauw are throwing a beer festival. With over twenty culinary hotspots, Strijp-S will satisfy all your cravings!

24 Hours of specials

It is clear: Strijp-S is bursting with energy. But in addition to the usual highlights, the district offers even more with (in our eyes) unmissable specials. On Saturday, FlowMies, one of Eindhoven’s most beloved acts, will close the outdoor program at the Ketelhuisplein with a glowing hoop dance act. The next morning, you can join the breakfast session at STR’eat bright and early. Ready to seize the day? After breakfast, you can join the outdoor yoga sessions on the roof of Plug-in-City. Not only will you enjoy yourself, but you’ll also be supporting a good cause: Stichting Leergeld.
