Walls with Paint: Eternal Love

In 'Walls with Paint', Eindhoven local, photographer, and art fan Lukedaduke shares the story behind a special street art project in Eindhoven. This month: the mural called Eternal Love by Studio Giftig.

In 2017, Niels van Swaemen en Kaspar van Leek finished a vast project called ‘Tunnelvisie’ (Tunnelvision) for Eindhoven underneath the A50 highway. After a long summer filled with paid mural jobs, they were looking for an excuse to do some free work. With the help of the city of Eindhoven, they claimed a spot in the city center. 

It might not be at the most attractive place, and indeed it isn’t their only work, but perhaps it’s their most commonly known mural in Eindhoven: Eternal Love at the Nieuwe Emmasingel.

Niels and Kaspar have known each other since 2007, and since 2012 they have focused on painting murals full-time. They developed an incredible realistic painting style in combination with surreal elements.
