6x Places to watch sports

Do you remember those sultry summer evenings when everything turned orange for the World Cup? Or when the whole city went wild to celebrate PSV's national championship? Our conclusion: nothing is as unifying as sports. A good reason to not only celebrate together but also to watch sports together. At the following places, sports fans, Formula 1 enthusiasts, and ‘Oranje’ supporters gather for an evening of sports binging. Just in time for EURO 2024!

Mainstreet

Besides broadcasting all sports, Mainstreet is perhaps most proud of its American menu: everything from hotdogs to Texas smoked brisket has its place on the menu. Now you might wonder: do sports and comfort food go together? Absolutely, it's called balance! Okay, back to sports. Whether you're cheering on Max Verstappen or watching the Dutch national team in action, you'll be guaranteed to experience all the iconic sports moments together here.

Irish Pub O'Sheas

Are you a fan of football, Guinness, and a good dose of Irish craic? Before you get any ideas: 'craic' means having a good time together. Well, you will be at O'Sheas. O, and don’t forget to order yourself a delicious plate of Irish pub food.

't Rozenknopje

't Rozenknopje, or simply 'the Knop,' has been a household name in Eindhoven for as long as anyone can remember. It probably has to do with the welcoming nature of this bar. You'll often find a mix of regulars and newcomers. Want to watch football outside your home but with that cozy living room feel? This is your go-to spot from now on!

Café LouLou
Café LouLou

Café LouLou

During the day, you can enjoy a delicious lunch, and when the sun’s set, you can dance the night away. But, there’s one more thing: during a European Championship or other important match of your favorite football club (which is, of course, PSV), big screens appear to show your support for them. What can we say? Café LouLou is a jack of all trades.

Dugout

Contrary to what the name suggests, there's little sitting still and a lot of action at the Dugout. With years of experience as the very first(!) sports bar in Eindhoven, they know better than anyone how to watch sports. To start: pick a match, order a beer and a snack (for example, the old school nachos), and gather your friends for an evening full of sports on Stratumseind. Also fun: during the break, you can entertain yourself with a game of darts or table football.

LAB-1

It’s not a fixture on the agenda, but not mentioning this opportunity would be wrong. Want to see how the Netherlands beats other countries on a really big screen? At LAB-1, you can follow the European Championship matches on a cinema screen. Don’t forget to grab some fresh popcorn!

Watch the EURO in Eindhoven style

What do you wear when you want to support the Dutch national team and show your love for Eindhoven? We have the answer: this limited edition EURO shirt from THE VIBE, inspired by the shirts from 1988 and 2024, with an Eindhoven touch, uh, vibe.
