Practical info BRIDGE Festival
The guitar festival BRIDGE touches down in Eindhoven from May 29th to June 2nd. This festival is for everybody who loves pop, rock, but most importantly: the sound of guitars. Get ready for exclusive concerts, master classes, workshops, and so much more during the free program.
What is BRIDGE Festival?
For those who have never heard of it, no need for FOMO; this year marks the second edition of the spectacular guitar festival. We'll explain everything you need to know in this article! For five days, Eindhoven will be dedicated to the world's most-played instrument: the guitar! Everything comes into play, from classical to blues, jazz to rock, and flamenco to pop. Besides ear-catching performances, there will be plenty of activities and workshops. And the best part: most of the festival is free!
The BRIDGE Festival is organized by Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and Effenaar. Which sounds like music to our ears!
Where and when?
This year's BRIDGE Festival is from Wednesday May 29th to Sunday June 2nd. On these days, you will find performances by over 50 artists across 10+ venues in the heart of Eindhoven. For example, Café Wilhelmina, Altstadt, Effenaar, Dynamo, Café The Jack, Stroomhuis, Muziekgebouw, and other musical locations.
Don't forget to visit 18 Septemberplein and Wilhelminaplein. On these squares, several must-visit artists, such as JB Meijers and Leif de Leeuw band, will rock out during the free-to-visit BRIDGE Around Town.
Program
With artists like Matteo Mancuso, Robert Cray, and Floor Jansen, it's bound to be a party. As we've mentioned earlier, there are two programmes: one totally free of charge (BRIDGE around town) and paid concerts. We suggest checking out both. Hard time choosing where to go? As a good festival goer befits, you could dive into the timetable yourself. Or, you could check out our fine-tuned must-sees!
Tickets
For the paid concerts, you will need a ticket. This means you would have to buy a ticket per concert. Prices vary between € 4 and € 45. Find more information on tickets right here.
