10x Awards for unconventional makers
Attention to all makers, researchers and designers! Are you working on something new? Maybe it's time to share your ideas with a larger audience. These awards in Eindhoven will give you an (international) stage and often a financial kickstart too!
Dutch Design Awards
One of the highlights each year during Dutch Design Week is the presentation of the Dutch Design Awards. DDA awards groundbreaking Dutch designs and their impact on society. You can register here.
Eindhoven Cultuurprijs
The Eindhoven Cultuurprijs celebrates local cultural professionals, institutions and initiatives, and their contribution to the city. The winners receive a cash prize of 7500 euros.
Award for Creative Technology
Every year STRP Festival presents the ACT Award. The winners will receive a prize of 10,000 to 20,000 euros. In addition, STRP provides production support for the development, production and presentation of new work during STRP Festival.
Kazerne Design Award
An award for recent graduates of the Design Academy Eindhoven. The jury honors one lucky winner with eternal glory and 5000 euros every year. The work of the 2022 nominees will be exhibited at Kazerne from early May onwards. The award ceremony will take place on 12 May.
Marina van Damme Grant
For talented female alumni of Dutch Universities of Technology, including TU/e, there is the Marina van Damme Grant. The amount of 9000 euros is intended to further broaden the winner's knowledge.
Social Design Talent Award
An award for young designers whose concepts make society a little better is presented annually by Eindhoven's Municipality. The winner receives 10,000 euros and a paid assignment with the municipality.
Crowe Talent Award
The Crowe Talent Award puts the spotlight on young talent in light art. The prize amounts to 2500 euros and offers the winner an international stage during the light art festival GLOW in Eindhoven.
TU/e Academic Awards
For the best theses, from bachelor to Ph.D., there are the annual TU/e Academic Awards. The winners receive a cash prize between 1250 and 5000 euros.
Bio-Art & Design Award
The BAD Award is an annual competition at the interface of scientific research and creative expression for young artists in bio-art and design. The most promising and innovative ideas will receive a cash prize of 25,000 Euros.
Dirk Roosenburgprijs
Dirk Roosenburg was a Dutch architect who designed several Philips buildings in Eindhoven, such as the Natlab on Strijp-S. The architecture prize linked to his name is awarded every two years to an Eindhoven project.
