What do Justin Bieber, Afrojack, and the world-breaking (breakdance) championships have in common? The answer: The Ruggeds. In 2014, the breaking group from Eindhoven became world champions for the first time. The beginning of a glorious career. This episode of The Creative Handshake gives you a glimpse into the life of super Rugged Jessy Kemper.

In addition to being a renowned dancer, Jessy is also a music producer and DJ. We know him best as part of The Ruggeds. The friends meet in Jessy's father's dance school, where their hobby turns into passion. On stages like World BBoy Classic, they break loose, and in 2022 they win the world-breaking championship again. The Ruggeds are at their best, when they can do something for the city, like hosting their festival Jams & Gems.
