4x Local fashion designers

When it comes to small boutiques, vintage shops and international brands, Eindhoven has got you covered (check out The Ultimate Shopping Guide in Eindhoven). But did you know that Eindhoven also has its own fashion designers? In their studios they design exciting collections, some of which make it to the red carpets of Hollywood. Here are four tips for your local fashion designer.

JØ

Jess Oberlin organises the PLASMA parties in Eindhoven, but also designs and produces limited edition leggings, t-shirts and tops. You can order the clothes online. Also, check out the reviews, they’re pretty good: "It's like I'm naked, but hotter and with clothes on." 

Jannissima

Jannita van den Haak graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven on a luxury backpack for women, and won the audience award at the Dutch Design Awards. Her handmade bags are sold internationally. Jannita also works with big brands like Bugaboo. Jannissima's studio is located at Sectie-C.

MLY

At Strijp-S you will find the shop and workshop of Emily Hermans. Be inspired by the fabrics, yarns and homemade designs of this Eindhoven fashion designer. You can also visit the studio for workshops and personal colour advice.

Alzúarr

Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna wear her exclusive shoes. The style of Zeynep Dag is eclectic and refined. From her studio at Plan-B she designs beautiful, extravagant pumps that are sold worldwide.
